Sandy comes from a long line of farmers. She decided to combine her interests of fungus, farming, forestry and fresh air into High Peaks Shiitake, a totally outdoor, nothing but nature and locally sourced growing medium. If you stop in, you can have shiitake picked straight from the log and at the local farmer's markets most mushrooms are picked that morning.
